Mineral wool is one of the most popular insulation materials. In addition to thermal insulation properties, it is also used as a sound insulation to reduce noise in rooms.
Wool is a breathable (vapor permeable) and extremely biologically resistant product, thanks to this it has a positive effect on the microclimate inside the house. Another advantage is the high fire resistance, it is non-flammable material. It has the highest fire resistance class A1, which is why it is often used in partitions as a fire separation element.
We offer both rock wool and glass wool in various sizes and thicknesses.

Type : there are two types of wool on the market, rock wool and glass wool. The former is mainly produced from rock materials such as dolomite, basalt and gabbro as well as from recycled materials such as blast furnace slag or mineral briquettes. It is used in all places where increased loads acting on the insulation are expected. It can also be used to insulate light wet walls. Glass wool is mainly composed of glass pestle and quartz, and is much less dense than rock wool, but is more flexible. Perfect for filling the pinch space, for example between the rafters,
Coefficient of thermal conductivity lambda : the more the partition is insulated, the better,
The thickness of the insulation,
Fire resistance : wool is a non-flammable product, it can be of fire resistance class A1 or A2,
Sound absorption coefficient : the number 1 indicates the total sound absorption. The more the coefficient drops below 1, the lower the absorption capacity.
